Carlos Segura – Founder & Emerald Specialist
Founder of SCE Jewels, I bring over a decade of expertise in emeralds, managing international operations from Switzerland. My work focuses on the import, export, and wholesale distribution of precious stones, with a specialisation in authentic Colombian emeralds.
Through SCE Jewels, I also lead the creation of high-end jewellery collections crafted in Italy, combining Colombian heritage with European excellence. My vision is to showcase emeralds as more than gems – as cultural legacies and symbols of timeless elegance.
Sarah Bernhart – Marketing & Creative Heart
As Marketing & Creative Heart, I bring my background in fashion, beauty, and social media to our brand. I create and manage marketing concepts, plan shoots, produce photos and videos, and design visual stories that highlight the uniqueness of our jewellery. Beyond this, I combine my sense for trends with hands-on modelling and influencer collaborations, bringing fresh ideas and creativity into our work.
Elbe Solano – Head of Office
As Head of Office, I oversee all organisational and administrative processes – from orders to customer care – ensuring smooth internal operations behind the scenes. With high standards for service and quality, I make sure our processes run efficiently and our clients receive the best possible support. My passion for beauty, elegance, and luxury products also shapes my professional approach.

With over a decade of experience, Carlos Segura, a proud Colombian, has dedicated his life to discovering, valuing, and sharing the unmatched beauty of emeralds. Starting in 2012 at La Pita mine in Boyacá, Colombia, he gained deep technical expertise and led teams under demanding conditions, bridging ancestral traditions with modern, responsible mining practices. For Carlos, emeralds are more than gems—they embody the essence, stories, and energy of Colombia.
In 2022, he founded SCE Jewels in Switzerland, blending Italian goldsmith refinement with the authenticity of Colombian emeralds. Leading a multilingual international team, Carlos transforms each emerald into a piece of art that represents luxury, legacy, and cultural identity. Through SCE, he is devoted to sharing the miracle of Colombian emeralds with the world.
