About Us
With over a decade of experience in the emerald industry, Carlos Segura, a proud Colombian, has devoted his life to discovering, valuing, and sharing the unmatched beauty of emeralds. His journey began in 2012 at La Pita, one of Colombia’s most renowned emerald mines, where he gained technical expertise in exploration and extraction before leading mining operations.
Working closely with local miners, Carlos became a bridge between ancestral traditions and modern, responsible practices, promoting safety, sustainability, and respect for the land. To him, emeralds are more than gems; they carry Colombia’s essence, reflecting its landscapes, people, and spirit.
After attending Baselworld in Switzerland, Carlos expanded his vision internationally, seeing Colombian emeralds as emblems of art, culture, and timeless elegance. In 2022, he founded SCE Jewels, merging the refinement of Italian craftsmanship with the authenticity of Colombian emeralds.
From Switzerland, he now leads an international team of designers, artisans, and marketers who share the beauty and heritage of these gems across languages and cultures. Each jewel crafted by SCE combines European precision with Latin American passion, representing not only luxury but also legacy and a deep reverence for nature.

Founder of SCE Jewels, I bring over a decade of expertise in emeralds, managing international operations from Switzerland. My work focuses on the import, export, and wholesale distribution of precious stones, with a specialisation in authentic Colombian emeralds. Through SCE Jewels, I also lead the creation of high-end jewellery collections crafted in Italy, combining Colombian heritage with European excellence. My vision is to showcase emeralds as more than gems, as cultural legacies and symbols of timeless elegance.

Marketing & Creative Heart
As Marketing & Creative Heart, I bring my background in fashion, beauty, and social media to our brand. I develop and manage marketing strategies, coordinate photoshoots, produce content, and craft visual stories that highlight the uniqueness of our jewellery. Combining creativity with an eye for trends, I also engage in influencer collaborations and hands-on modelling to bring our collections to life. My goal is to ensure every piece we present reflects sophistication, authenticity, and a modern sense of elegance.

As Head of Office, I oversee all organisational and administrative processes, from client communication and logistics to after-sales service, ensuring seamless daily operations. With a focus on precision and excellence, I make sure our clients receive attentive support and an experience aligned with SCE Jewels’ high standards. My passion for beauty, elegance, and luxury products inspires me to uphold a refined approach in every aspect of our work, creating harmony between efficiency and style.
