1. Scope of application
   1.1. These General Terms and Conditions (GTC) govern the business relationships between SCE-Jewels: Segura Colombian Emeralds, domiciled in Switzerland, and its customers, both individuals and companies.
   1.2. Exclusively the provisions of Swiss law apply, in particular the Swiss Code of Obligations (CO) and the Swiss Civil Code (CC).
   1.3. By placing an order, the customer accepts these terms as binding.

   SCE-Jewels offers:
   • Exclusive and personalized jewelry
   • Certified Colombian emeralds
   • Individual advice on design and selection
   • Unique custom-made creations

4. Conclusion of contract
   The contract is concluded once the order is received and confirmed by SCE-Jewels, either in writing, by email, or with the start of the service or production. (Art. 1 et seq. CO)

5. Prices and payment terms
   5.1. All prices are stated in Swiss francs (CHF) and include the applicable legal VAT.
   5.2. Accepted payment methods:
   • Advance payment (Vorkasse): mandatory for personalized orders (minimum 40%)
   • Cash / card on-site (upon collection)
   • PayPal and credit card (online or in person)
   • Invoice: only for companies, with a mandatory 40% advance payment

6. Custom orders
   6.1. To start the production of a custom design, the customer must pay 40% of the total amount in advance.
   6.2. The remaining balance must be paid no later than at the time of delivery or collection. (Art. 184 CO)
   6.3. Custom-made products cannot be modified or canceled once the process has started.

7. Delivery and collection
   7.1. Standard items are delivered within 3 to 7 business days after receipt of full payment.
   7.2. Personal collection is available by appointment in Allschwil (BL).
   7.3. The risk of loss or damage is transferred to the customer at the time of delivery or shipment. (Art. 185 CO)

8. Right of withdrawal / returns
   8.1. Private customers have the right to withdraw from the purchase within 14 calendar days from receipt of the product.
   8.2. Custom-made or personalized items are excluded from the right of return, in accordance with Art. 197 CO.

9. Warranty
   9.1. SCE-Jewels offers a Swiss legal warranty for manufacturing defects, valid for 2 years from the date of delivery.
   9.2. Excluded from the warranty are:
   • Damage due to improper use or accident
   • Normal wear and tear
   • Interventions by unauthorized third parties

10. Retention of title
    The goods remain the property of SCE-Jewels until full payment has been made. (Art. 214 CO and Art. 715 CC)
    We reserve the right to register such retention of title in the corresponding register.

11. Copyright and intellectual property
    All content published by SCE-Jewels, including photographs, texts, logos, designs, product descriptions, and the entire website, is protected by the Swiss Copyright Act (CopA).
    Copying, reproducing, or using such content without prior written authorization is strictly prohibited.

12. External links
    Our website may contain links to external sites. We do not assume any responsibility for the content, offers, or data protection policies of such third parties.

13. Data protection
    SCE-Jewels collects and processes personal data solely for contractual purposes and in accordance with the Federal Data Protection Act (FADP). For more information, please see our privacy policy.

14. Applicable law and jurisdiction
    Exclusively Swiss law applies.
    The place of jurisdiction is Allschwil (BL), Switzerland.
